NOTE:THIS IS NOT A COSTUME CHANGE FOR NINA IN MYTHS OF UNOVA.I wonder why she looks older...or is it just a distraction? Actually it's more like a couple of people starting up BW2 runs wanted to cameo Nina, so I had to post this ref lol

I think the reason she might seem a bit older is the way she has her hair. It's a more mature sort of style than her normal one.

I never really got into these nuzlocke comics. I understand the playing part for the challenge, but not the comics people make based on their playthroughs. I mean all of their Pokemon teams are the exact same thing from one's comic to the other, which does sorta tend to get boring. Makes me wonder why people don't make comics based on just regular playthroughs that way there's some originality in their teams. But that's just me anyway. Nice drawing nonetheless though.

Β As Patrick-7 said, the origin of the Nuzlocke challenge was a comic; the creator wanted to convey how the challenge gave him feels. A lot of people who take the challenge consider writing a comic/story an informal part of the challenge, akin to nicknaming all the Pokemon. Or they want to write a comic/story about a Trainer OC and use the challenge as an excuse. Or whatever. There are a lot of reasons to write or draw, and they're all good reasons!

I categorized it as Nuzlocke ish but tbh its more of an oc profile and you went on a tangent about nuzlockes (I didn't even care whether it was mean or not) so I felt it was irrelevant to the art in question.

Much like how an artist will put up a picture of Mega Mewtwo or something, many people like to comment their thoughts of it while still praising the picture in particular of course. So in a way it's still relevant. I didn't think you'd take it this badly though. I apologize if it seemed I was trying to show disrespect or anything. Those weren't my intentions, honest. So yeah...

Death adds drama. Β In a standard run you know the Β protag wins and everything works out great. Β In a Nuzlocke they can fail at any time or lose a PokΓ©mon.
Also the concept of "Nuzlocke" came from a webcomic so it's kind of traditional. Β If you want a non-nuzlocke PokΓ©mon webcomic I suggest PCBC 3.

I designed this around the time BW2 was announced so it was not me going from this design to Hilda. It's the opposite.
