XD This is fantastic! I found this drawing just after I started a new nuzlocke on pokΓ©mon Y. My starter is Hannah, a female chespin who is impish and capable of taking hits. Except for the fact that yours is wearing a skirt instead of shorts, she looks exactly like how I pictured my Hannah.

I actually have a male chespin and i chose squirtle for my Kanto starter. Out of insane luck, my squirtle was a female. Now that they're a chesnaught and a blastoise, I totally ship them together!! <3

No, simply because of his awesome evolution design...
They are Team Flare because they like to shine above the rest, we dont know yet if they are going to use mostly fire type Pokemon.

True. But it is proven that they will use fire types. In one of the trailers you battle 2 team flare members and they both have houndours.

However, choosing Froakie only for that would be weird, at least for me. They didnt show all Pokemon yet ad Fire type have a lot of weakness. Im sure we can catch several type stronger then fire type before we face them seriously.
Beside, we can choose a Kanto starter as well when we began... People could choose Squirtle for that reason too... If they do choose Squirtle, I doubt they will pick Froakie.

Yeah. That brings something up actually. i am picking bulbasaur. FAVORITE STARTER.HANDS DUCKIN DOWN. my favorite anyway... and i am gonna get the WIFI torchic. so only type left? water. and froakie's evo looks cool and the water type starters usually turn out for the better when it comes to the gym leaders. Especially mudkip. It can powerhouse through the FIRST 5 GYMS IN ITS LEAGUE! and it's dang strong in general.

I never liked Venusaur (Ivysaur is adorable however) so not gonna pick him. You see its all a matter of preference more then typing, with them offeringΒ one Starter from 1st generation.

As for water starters, water is teh best element of of teh three, with less weakness then the other so yeah, overral, its the strongest. There never was a generation when a Grass starter was said to teh the strongest out of teh 3 starters (and that a shame).

wow with unova i had trouble picking a starter cause there all great but with these... I DONT WANT TO PICK ANY! God damn it pokemon gen 6 and 5 learn to make which pokemon you want to pick vary on your personall perferances and opinions like gen 1,2,3,4 and 5 dont make them all the same!

I usually go for grass starters, but Chespin came off as a Oshwott recolor and I wasn't too thrilled 'bout it.
Froakie is still gonna me my main though.

I like how each one has a color theme that even their skin tones match to! (Chespin has earth tone, Fennekin has fiery, warm tones and Froakie has cool, blue-central tones) Very nice!

All I hope for is that their isn't another fire/fighting type as the final form.
It was cool and unique in Ruby and Sapphire, but three games in and the same type... It loses its charm.
