because, idk if you know, but spiritomb can only be summoned (and bounded) by the keystone/the rock the ghost is carrying.
so i think i intended the kid to be bounded by the rock the same way. the pebbles that make up the collar is meant to minimize the amount of steps he can take?? so that's why there's a ghost carrying it for him?!!!!!!! so he can the same freedom as everyone else
