page 1 of my second book, the Clues sequel.So as I said before, I changed my technique: I first color directly the pages entirely with one tone of watercolor, I scan the page and color on top of the watercolor with photoshop.

Ooh, it's almost like the technique used in Kingdom Come? (By Alex Ross) Except I think I did the overlays in watercolor too. I love the result of it here.

Interesting method, but isn't it hard to use watercolors? I don't think that I could manage it...

BTW is there any weak artist in France and French-like countries? ['cos Switz' is a half France and half Germany as I've heard] 'cos I'm finding only OUTSTANDING artists right there...

you know, I find those trees to be particularly effective. The whole thing is beautiful, but the trees and they way they are twisting in this kind of almost tortured way is... great? lol. I lost my momentum, sorry.

hmm actually, I don't really know... I think it goes ok, not a huge hit but not a total failure either! Average selling I think... But that's only judging by the first details I received, a month ago. Maybe it's doing better than I think, but I have to wait till my publishers send me the details. I'm supposed to receive new info quite soon I think!

What layer setting do you use to colour over the top? I tried this once with the 'hue' setting and it just all came out so drab and dreary, not at all as awesome as this!
