Description
So most dexes settle for one or two common bug type lines...not me of course!I'm obsessed with bugs! These are only the first stages in evolutionary lines of some of the common atlas bugs you'll encounter.
From left to right, down to bottom;

Some people don't agree with some of the pokemon choices I've made for Atlas, but when you see them together like this you can see the wide range of designs, colours, habitats and type combinations working together harmoniously to represent the variation I envisioned for Atlas.
Now, If only I had some Bug/Ghost, Bug/Steel, Bug/Water, Bug/Electric, Bug/Ice, Bug/Dragon types I would have them all!

Just can't get enough of that precious Vermini and mantis.
I love bug Pokemon! *w* They can be quite versatile in the games. My main Pokemon I had in my party was a Scyther. He was mostly the one I used to catch others with false swipe. >3 However, you really make me want to think up some other bug Fakemon types. A Bug/Ice or a Bug/Ghost would be interesting. Actually, any of those would!

Oh my gosh I love Bug types too yaaay! I hope to have one of every bug type combination! I was thinking today about a Bug/Ice type, it could be a dung beetle that pushes a snowball around!

It is rare to find people who like bug Pokemon. I'm not sure why. ;w; I've really liked a lot of the designs already made in the original and the fanmade versions. Oh! Actually, that would be a very good idea. It sounds quite adorable at the same time.
Personally, I was thinking a Bug/Ice version of a lacewing neuroptera. The shimmery, translucent wings would really give into the icy appeal that a Bug/Ice Pokemon would have.

I love how I can totally see them fitting into the official games perfectly with how they're sprited. I just feel like the unnamed psychic/bug type could use a little centering to it's mouth and marking on its face a bit, but aside from that, they've all been wonderfully designed. I think it'd be interesting to have another caterpillar variation or two though. o:

YES. Thank youuu that means so much to me that you can see them fitting in with the official games. I completely agree on the mantis and I struggled with it's face so much haha, I'll go back and try to improve it, thanks for the crit!

In addition to my comment prior, with more thought it actually seems like a better concept for a bug type with form changes to it's environment. x.x;

You're very welcome! c: If the face is a little too complicated, and you're comfortable with the idea, moving the other eye at little into view may be easier.
For the bug/water, or bug/ice I think a Tardigrade (Waterbear) would be a good concept to use. I can't really imagine them being anything other than a single stage Pokemon. I know they can survive various conditions, so maybe they could have a frozen form like Darmanitan's Zen Mode. Or it could pass as a bug/ghost, or even a bug/steel type, to explain it's ability to survive the void of space.

I was thinking of designing a Pokemon based on the Barbary Macaque monkey?
I got the idea since they are usually found in a place called the "Atlas Mountains" and I thought it'd be surprisingly fitting?

Bug/Ghost.. maybe some sort of louse or parasite? Just cos it'd be REALLY annoying to have a bug biting you that you can't get off cos its intangeable XDD
Bug/Electric.. maybe a velvet worm? They always look like they'd be fulla static if they crawled over a carpet XD
Bug/Steel.. some sort of pillbug with mettalic armor? (maybe it evolves into a giant mecha?)
Bug/Water... uh.. a leech? Nintendo's kinda covered the obviously watery ones... maybe some sort of zany twist, like a mosquito crossed with one of those drinky-bird toys?
Bug/Ice maybe some sort of opposite counterpart to the fire cricket? Perhaps one of its predators or prey?
Bug/Dragon.. TOO BAD WE ALREADY HAVE A DRAGONFLY *kicks nintendo for wasting an opportunity*
