Description Based on Bombyx Mori (domesticated silkmoths - which are super cute).
Designs were done by ~farreer and ~nachtbeirmann with some changes by me.

"Silkch are constantly falling over and bumping themselves, so they wrap themselves in silk bandages."

"Cachoe's head and tail mimic eyes, but are only for display. The real body has turned liquid inside and awaits evolution."

"??? have been cultivated in Asia for centuries for their high quality silk. Some have been bred so that they cannot fly."

pls no comments saying "ew cachoe looks like..." I don't want to hear it. Bugs can be pretty weird and I think it's a really clever design. It's also based on the ugly duckling theme.

Silkch's design also takes inspiration from the cruel world of silk production, where 2000-3000 silkworms have to be slaughtered to make one single pound of silk (they are boiled alive in their coccoons so that they dont ruin the silk when they come out).

These are really nice designs, and well sprited too (as with all yours designs lol) Β 
Are you taking suggestions for the name of the last one? I think the name 'Entomajesty' is fitting... Derived from 'entomology' and 'majesty', I think it appeals both to what the Pokemon is (a rather majestic looking insect) and also to the ugly duckling theme you mentioned.Β

Oh, I love the final one a lot!Β  It's kinda sad that the domesticated silk moth can't fly, but eh, not much to be done about that.

Sila is just silk without the 'k', and mori comes from the Silkworm Classification - Bombyx Mori

Yeah... it's a bit too obvious... only one I could think of at the time.


Its scientific name is "Bombyx mori", which means "silk worm of the mulberry tree". I feel like the name should have that in it but I am drawing a blank... XD
