I owned one of these too. I've owned over 80 cars, trucks and motorcycles in my lifetime. Anyway, mine had an orange and yellow side stripe. It was a blast to drive, you could go at 10/10ths all the time and no one knew. The only problem was that it was so little and so cute, everyone just pulled out in front of it and I was constantly standing on the brakes. It was one of the smallest production cars on the road in the U.S. at the time. People just misunderestimated it! My wife (at the time) liked the car but driving it scared her and we eventually sold it. It was well built except the doors were very tinny sounding when you closed them.

I saw a video where a bunch of guys got one of these cheap and were racing it around a dirt bike track. The poor car was so tired it couldn't even make it up one of the hills, so they got as much of a running start as they could and got it completely airborne and landed upside down in a street on the other side.

They were good cars in there day i even caught up to my friends Ferrari 308GTB in my then girlfriends Civic. Then we took the Ferrari out for a drive!!!!!!
