This is more or less what I like: crude and unsophisticated but probably fast as all hell.

Isn't this a base car with RT emblems and flip-up headlights added?  I'm not an expert on all the trim levels (I do own a base 72 Charger), but I do know this car has the hood, doors, and tail lights of the base level car.  On an R/T I'd expect to see the power bulge hood, the gill doors, and the three-slot tail lights.  

This looks like a great low-low-budget build (look at the paint at the front of the hood - I would not be surprised if the whole thing is a spray can job!).  If it were an R/T in good condition I'd guess it's worth would be in the $30,000-$50,000 range.  I've seen Super Bees in the seventies.  Odds are you won't see many real R/T's given this kind of rough customization job.
