After getting some advise for my Free Sketch 39 decided I wanted to do a big study on poses. This one's a warm up of just a bunch of modelling poses. Next one think I'll track down as many variations of sitting/kneeling as I can find as homework for Free Sketch 39.
It was actually a lot more difficult than I thought it would be to find a reference photo for a partial or even full Indian seated position from profile. So I think my best bet is gonna just be getting a better understanding of foreshortening of seated people, then studying kicks (preferably kicks away from camera) to address the back leg. Maybe ballet/dancing/yoga for less strained motions.
