Dazed and confused I shook Max's hand, but he stopped and lightly kissed my hand.
"I'm sorry, Alexis, but may I just say that you look beautiful." He said lightly.

Memories of my dream flashed in my mind of a remorseless killer and a room of mirrors. This sweet man standing in front of me couldn't have been the killer in my dreams as I thought when he first showed his face. He looked too nice to be the man that killed that family. I looked in his eyes for some trace of proof that it wasn't him, but all I could see was ice. I grew stiff.

"Um, are you alright Lex?" Randy asked, for once, showing a little concern. I didn't answer, I just stood and stared into Max's dark, unfeeling eyes. Finally Randy nudged me and I jumped. I looked at him quickly and nodded then let go of Max's hand. Max smiled as innocently as he could and nodded to Randy as well. With that, Randy left after telling us to "have a good one" and scurried to the door. I started to walk toward the door as Randy looked over the building. Once he realized I had left he ran up to catch me.

"Hey, hold on there sugar. Why are you in such a hurry?" He asked while smoothly grabbing my arm and running his hand down to hold mine. I immediately looked down at my hand and grudgingly looked back up at him. He looked at me confused so I gathered up as much courage as I could; I didn't care if he was a murderer. Here, I was the boss of him.

"I don't know how it worked with the other places you worked, but you aren't allowed to show intimacey with co-workers or with anyone else while on the clock." I said confidently and removed my hand from his. he looked a little shocked and angry, then went back to his happy and sweet faced mask. He grabbed my hand again and said "but you're not on the clock yet, and I don't get paid for being an intern. We have time since all you're doing is showing me the ropes." He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him "Not to mention, I wouldn't mind you showing me your ropes dollface." He said with a wink and sly smile.

God was this guy for real? I pushed him away from me, and I started walking for the building. After realizing he'd lost he followed about two feet behind me. I couldn't help but think that he was looking at my ass, but it was better than physical sexual harassment. I shrugged and picked up my pace as I started for my office. He still was two feet behind me and no matter how fast I went it seemed like a leisurely walk for him.

When we finally got to my office I sat in my chair behind my desk and started working to keep myself busy in hopes that Max would leave me alone. I was wrong, while I was shuffling through papers he locked the door very quietly and walked over to my desk. My office was always clean, no cluttered papers, a clean desk, and everything organized. I had my head down and tried not to look up at him as I played with the papers in my hand, he grabbed them out of my hand and set them on the filing cabinet next to him. He sat down on the desk to the left of me and looked down at me expectantly. I didn't know what to do so I looked at my door hoping someone would knock to come in or something. Anything?

"baby, you look really stressed." he semi-menacingly. "Here, let me help you with that." He said as he walked around behind me and started massaging my neck and shoulders. I tensed up a little at first, but after a couple of minutes I gave in. It felt so good, I couldn't stand how amazing I felt. Once I was relaxed, he bent down and slowly started to kiss my neck. My eyes grew wide and the next thing I knew I was on the other side of my desk and he was face first on top of it. How did I do that?

He slowly looked up at me and then around the room. "What the hell happened?" he asked confused "I thought you liked that?" He said innocently.
"Well, you thought wrong. I don't appreciate that after I deliberately told you I do not want to get fired for co-worker intimacey, so just stay over there." I said as I gestured towards the far corner of the office and sat down in a chair by the door.

He was angry but shrugged it off and did as I asked. He sat down on the floor in the corner and stared at me. After an hour or so of waiting for him to get bored, I stood up.
"Hey, where are you going?" he asked judgingly
"If you must know everything, I'm on my way to the bathroom, is that alright with you?" I said as I unlocked the door and walked out of the room.

As I got near the restroom I turned left and went down to the end of the hallway to the breakroom. After what I just went through I deserve a break. When I walked into the room I turned on the lights and lied down on the couch. I put one arm over my eyes and stayed there for a few minutes. No one ever came into the breakroom so I was sure I'd be left alone, and there were no windows in the room so there was no chance of me being caught in here. I started to drift off when I heard the door. I looked up to see Randy standing in the doorway. He walked in and shut the door behind him.

"Well, well is the intern giving you a run for your money?" he asked with a chuckle. This is the first time he's ever been nice to me; this isn't normal. "Sad to see you in here like this because I thought you knew the guy which is why I gave him to you." He said shaking his head.
"Wait what? What makes you think I knew him?" I asked confused
"Because he knew you. He personally asked to be your intern and no one elses'." He said with a wink. Once he realized the confusion on my face he asked "You don't know him, do you?" I shook my head and looked up at him. "Well, this is interesting." With that, he got up and walked out of the room.

I sat there for a few more minutes, then got up and headed back to my office. I didn't bother to look at the bathrooms and while I went past them someone grabbed me tight by the shoulders. I tried to see who was behind me and when I looked back I saw no one. I went into my office and when I did Max was gone. I gave a sigh of relief and went about my work the rest of the day.

When it was quitting time, I had sopmehow managed to get ahead of my normal work schedule and got into half of the list I had for tomorrow's work. I felt very accomplished and started to head to my car. As I got out to the parking lot I unlocked my car and opened the door. As soon as I had the door completely open, A ghostly howl flew out and a blue figure flew out and pushed me over. I screamed and put my hands up. After I realized that the figure was gone I got up and checked inside my car then went to get in.

"Hey dollface, where are you off to?" Max said from behind me. I slowly turned around, he pulled me to hin, and shut my car door. "I think you and I need to have some alone time now that you're off the clock." he said smiling. I got nervous and tried to wriggle away. "You know I'm ok, I don't need to spend any alone time with anyone or anything but my bed. I'm not feeling too well, so if you'll just let me go, I'll go home and I'll see you tomorrow." I tried to free myself from his grip, but with no success.

"Woah, woah there." He said as he moved my hair away from my eyes. I looked up at him and his expression grew dark. "You're not going anywhere, Alexis Marie Sterling." With that, I felt my head get hit by something heavy and my world grew dark.
