For those of you who know me, you're probably wondering what took me so long to do fanart from the Dark Knight. For those of you who don't, uh...suprise?A little bit of explaining is due for this. After I watched Dark Night, I wanted to compare that Joker to the one of the Batman animated series, which I hadn't seen since I was a kid. Re-watching some episodes, I realised that I liked both Jokers, but they were very different characters. An image popped into my head of what it would look like if I combined the characteristics that I liked from each into one character, hence this picture.
(the cigarette is a reference to 'Mask of the Phantasm', where the Joker was smoking in some flashbacks)

This is great looking, and very intresting to see them combined. I love all the detail you put into his clothes, the hands look incredible, and the face definitly has aspects of both of them. Love it!!

This would be the Ultimate Joker, Voiced by Mark Hamill, but with all the sadistic freedom of Heath Ledgers Joker. Can you imagine the fun to be had by Mark Hamill's Joker, if they didn't have the limitations of the "mostly kid friendly" animated series? I just did a big comparison of these two last night on my page [link] and am amazed the idea of a hybrid between the two didn't cross my mind. I mean the only thing lacking in either Joker, was the strong point in the other. MH Joker had to be kid friendly, so he couldn't be as twisted or murder anyone and HL Joker just didn't have the Clown Prince of Crime quality. This is absolutely, the perfect Joker. Well Done

This is a perfect combination of them both, you balance the aesthetics of both so that this one comes out wonderfully. I loved the animated one as a kid, and am now freaking out about the Heath Ledger one (in the loving way).

That's real nice. I never got why the hell we'd wanna compare the different variants of the Joker in the first place. I liked Hamill's Joker in the Animated Series (Hell, I watched it specifically for him) and Ledger's Joker was fantastic, too.

FINALLY! You batman fangirl. Really like the combo effect, on the character and I must say i'm impressed with the texturing on the clothes (very joker-esque) He seems a might on the thin side, but over-all very cool
