Description ***The tutorial has not changed at all- just the aesthetic, so if you open this after not looking at it in a while and it appears to be different... it's not. It just looks better. That's all.***
I wanted to make some cool shoes for Celt Fest this year. However, I don't want to hot glue plastic leaves on flats. No thank you. So, I decided to make up my own method and supply you all with a tutorial so that you don't have to be all fed up like me. Here's what I did. Just for ideas and such. If you make a pair or a variation thereof, I would love to see them.

So, these can be worn as is, like ankle bracers, or you can turn them into shoes, which is what I will be doing next and uploading a tutorial for as well (probably). Anyway, good luck and enjoy.

Oh! They were somewhat inspired by the shoes of Disney's fairy, Beck .

EDIT: also! If you want to turn them into shoes, you need to make sure that the leaf that goes on top is long enough to reach decently to the spot in between you big and second toes!

Awesome tutorial! I'd like to use a similar idea to make a pair of medieval-looking shoes for a costume I'm working on. Thanks for the great resource.
