Description Hope was called out to talk to a customer who was clearly unhappy with her food.
“Hello,” she said, “what can I do for you?”
“Well, I wanted a hot sandwich,” the lady said.
Hope looked at the sandwich skeptically. It was a hot ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato. She knew perfectly that it was hot and that Sherri just didn’t want to heat the lettuce and tomato.
“I’m sorry, ma’am,” she said with amazing customer skills. “But it looks me to like that sandwich is hot.”
“Well, I really wanted a hot sandwich,” the lady repeated.
“Yes, I know,” Hope said. “As far as I can see, however, it is hot.” She smiled to show that she was at least trying to be polite.
“Yeah,” the lady said. “But I really wanted a hot sandwich.”
“Okay,” Hope said before she hit the lady, “would you like me to go and heat the sandwich for you?”
“Oh!” the lady grinned, clapping her hands together. “Would you?”
Hope tried her hardest to keep the smile. “Of course.”
