Aww, ladybird! What's the fuzzay thing she walking on?
Also, I've read good things about the Raynox macro attachments. They're not "cheap"; I think they're 3 or 4 element lenses. That's what I'm going to use when I start getting into (i.e. get money) macrophotography.

The plant where the ladybug walk on is a old Physalis.
After that shot I bought a macro lens, the Tamron 90mm and I just love it. But I also love to shot with the cheap closeupfilter (+4) and the Nikkor 50mm 1.8. That composition makes great effects.

mh, I donΒ΄t know which one I used here. I have a +1,+2,+4,+10 closeupfilters. the +4 and +10 I used usually. I think I worked with the +4 here and that is not the complete photo, I cropped it (maybe itΒ΄s the 100% view).

You shouldn't have told anyone it was a cheap close up macro filter... they'd never have known. Which makes me wonder about other cheap filters? Great capture, and composition.
