Description [WARNING: Bonnie practically swears during every other sentence here. It's okay, though; I'll wash his mouth out with a bar of soap after the events of this mediocre fanfiction--I promise.]

Bonnie sat alone in one of the many chairs of the main party room, his feet resting on the table as he seemingly lounged without a care. A lit cigarette was pressed in between his pale lips, which he’d occasionally remove to blow a small cloud of smoke. For this night at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, there was no security guard to monitor the animatronics. Not anymore, at least. To the rabbit’s disappointment, a certain chicken had managed to catch their unfortunate victim first. In his mind, this meant that there was absolutely nothing left for him to do for the rest of the idle night. It was only 1:00 AM; Bonnie didn’t think that he would be able to bear another five hours of doing absolutely nothing. It wasn’t like he could simply waste his time with the other animatronics, either. Freddy wasn’t exactly the “social” type, Chica was more than likely still “taking care of” the nightwatchman, Golden Freddy could rarely be seen interacting with the others, let alone be seen in general (plus the two had quite a toxic relationship), so there weren’t anymore options other than—

Foxy. Bonnie’s ears perked up slightly as the idea popped into his head. ‘Why not go visit Foxy? You haven’t seen him in so goddamned long, after all.’ he thought. Ever since the fox had been deemed “out of order“ after causing one of the restaurant’s most infamous accidents, he kept himself cooped up behind the purple curtains of Pirate Cove. He hardly decided to leave his refuge; the other animatronics progressively saw less and less of him as the days went by. Bonnie and Foxy were exceptionally close before then. Despite this, they hadn’t spoken ever since. Removing his feet from the table and finally standing up, the rabbit was confident to change that. With that, he left the quiet party room for his new destination.

As usual, the Cove was devoid of any activity. The area surrounding it felt lonely and deserted, sending a shiver through Bonnie’s body. He puffed one last cloud of smoke before holding his cigarette in between his index and middle fingers, stepping closer to the retired attraction.

“…Hey, Captain. Aren’t you gonna come out and say hi to me?” he called out, a smug grin forming on his pale face. Said grin quickly faded away upon receiving no response.

“Ahem… I said—”

“What are ye doin’ ‘ere, Bonnie?”

Bonnie paused. The pirate didn’t sound too happy to see him. There was a hint of anger in his deep voice.

“I just came by to give my old friend a visit. Is that such a bad thing?” he questioned teasingly. With a growl, the red-haired male pulled back the starred curtains with his sharp, silver hook, just enough so that he could peer at the bunny before him with a single, striking eye.

“Leave already, lad. Ye shouldn’t be hangin’ ‘round ‘ere like this.”

“I can do whatever I want, and what I want is to spend time with you.”

“I just said that—!”

“And I just said that I’m not leaving.”

“Would ye learn how ta listen fer once?!”

“I am listening. I just don’t like your suggestions.”

Foxy closed the curtains again, not giving a reply to the more immature male. Beginning to regret his actions, Bonnie edged even closer to the small stage.

“…Foxy? I’m, uh, sorry if I—”

Without warning, the fox abruptly grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside. He unintentionally dropped his cigarette on the tiled floor in the process. Foxy’s hand was gripped tightly around one of Bonnie’s arm, his hook holding the other. The pirate glared straight into the other’s blood-red eyes in a menacing manner.

“Ye’d better listen ta this, Bunny Boy… Ye would be much better off just stayin’ the hell away from me. I be far too dangerous to be around childish lil’ twits like yerself. Leave this instant. And if ye dare disrespect me, I’ll—!”

“Has anyone ever told you how adorable you are when you try to act all tough?” Bonnie interrupted, his prideful smile returning. “Because you’re really fuckin’ adorable when you try to act all tough. I thought you were actually threatening me for a sec.”

A light shade of blush tinted Foxy’s cheeks. “Excuse me?! I-I am threatenin’ ye!” he snapped, embarrassed.

“Really? Huh, I couldn’t tell.” The rabbit sniggered in amusement. “Besides, we both know you could never bring yourself to hurt me.”

“I don’t even intend on hurtin’ ye… on purpose, at least,” The pirate had a pinch of regret in his tone. “That be the goddamned reason why I want ye ta get lost…!”

“Oh, are you still upset over that kid you bit?” Bonnie snorted. “That happened years ago, dude! The little snot had it comin’, anyway.”

Foxy’s voice suddenly boomed. “That isn’t the point! I hurt an innocent child, dimwit; I could’ve killed ‘em!”

What Foxy referred to was the infamous Bite of ‘87. A young visitor had gotten too close for comfort to the, at the time, malfunctioning animatronic. Their frontal lobe was ripped clean off, and the traumatized fox had been “out of order” ever since. Despite the others reassuring him that it wasn’t entirely his fault, he continued to blame himself.

“But, you didn’t. They’re still alive somewhere, right? So, why are you still acting like that stupid glitch makes you some kinda monster?”

With a loud whack, a great amount of pain struck the bunny as Foxy beat him in the back of the head with the blunt side of his hook.

“…How do ye know I won’t end up doin’ the same to ye someday?” Foxy questioned darkly. “I could hurt Fred, I could hurt Chica, I could hurt ye… Then what would happen?”

Before giving a reply, Bonnie delivered a punch to the pirate’s arm, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand.

“First of all… Ow! That really fuckin’ hurt, you know! Geez…! And second of all, you won’t bite any more heads off, idiot, quit worrying about it…! Look, I didn’t come here to argue; I came here to spend time with my old friend who I haven’t seen in years just because of some dumb accident that he didn’t even fucking cause!” The violet-haired male clenched his gloved hands into fists. He always tried to control his anger; nevertheless, this time didn’t apply.

Foxy looked unsettled. His hand rested on his arm in an attempt to lessen the pain. Relaxing himself, Bonnie exhaled sharply, lowering his crimson eyes.

“…I’m, uh… sorry for yelling like that…”

“No, no, don’t apologize, lad.” The buccaneer grabbed the other’s shoulder. “I’m sorry fer bein’ so bitter in the first place.”

A smile formed on Bonnie’s face. “So, does that mean I can hang here with you?”

Foxy nodded. “Aye… Just don’t act like a complete scallywag, all right?”

“Are you gonna make me walk the plank if I do?”

“Shut yer trap.”

“Aye-aye, Cap’n~” The mischievous guitarist smirked, sitting himself down on the floor of the Cove. “Nice place you got here, ya know… It’s dark as hell, though. Not to mention super empty. How do you not get bored in here all day?”

“Listenin’ ta ye three sing on stage be me form of entertainment durin’ daytime. At night, however, me only option be goin’ after the guard…”

“And talking to us.”

“Yeah, right…” Sighing heavily, Foxy crossed his arms and glanced down at his tattered clothing. He plopped down next to Bonnie and stared out the narrow opening between the purple curtains. “Doesn’t Fred prefer me away from ye all?”

“Well, kinda; but, he misses you, and I’m sure he’d be happy to see you after so long. I mean, I know I am.”

“Ye’re happy ta see me…?”

“I just said that, didn’t I?”

The reclusive fox was unbelievably surprised. He was missed? If this was the case, then he felt a tad bit bad for avoiding contact for so long. Still, knowing that he was happy to see him left a warm sensation inside him.

“Hmph… Well, I suppose I be glad ta see ye, too, Bunny Boy.”

“Bunny Boy” chuckled. “Heh, I always knew you loved me, you ol’ seadog.”

Foxy’s face flushed, and he stammered, “I-I do not…! I’m just tryin’ ta be nice so ye leave me alone!”

“Calm down, Cap’n, I’m only messing with you. You’re blushing, though… It’s pretty cute.”

Foxy sat up straight, the hairs of his bushing tail standing up like that of an aggressive cat.

“I be a pirate, damnit! Pirates be tough, feared, not ‘cute’!”

“Clearly, you’re the exception.”

Bonnie caught Foxy’s wrist before he could bop his head with his hook again.

“Stop that!” The rabbit ordered playfully. “I thought you didn’t want to hurt anyone else, huh?”

“Clearly, ye’re the exception.” Foxy repeated with a smirk. Bonnie weakly shoved him, rolling his eyes.

“Shut up… You’re still blushing, you know.”

“Am not…!”

Foxy turned his head away in order to shield his hot cheeks with his long, red mane. He didn’t quite understand why he was being so easily flustered. It must’ve had something to do with Bonnie, but what?

“Am I embarrassing you, Foxy? Don’t take it too seriously. You’ll always be that big, tough, strong, fearless, sexy pirate captain to me.”

“That’s right—wait, what?”

“I said you were big, tough, strong, and fearless.”

Bonnie beamed innocently as Foxy raised a suspicious eyebrow.

“…Ye sure? Because I swear I heard ye say somethin’ else.”

“What did you hear me say?”

“…Never mind.”

“Oh, wait, right! Yeah, I said you were totally sexy, too! …Hey, you’re blushing again!”

Yes, the perplexed pirate’s cheeks were a deep shade of burning red, even more than before. Unsure how to properly react, he flicked the other male in the face with his tail.

“A-am I gonna have to make ye leave?!”

“Owww… What? I’m just telling the truth.”

“Shut up…!” he snapped, his patience wearing thin. “Stop messin’ with me, or—!”

Out of the blue, Bonnie tightly coiled his arms around the fox and pulled him into a hug. He rested his head on his shoulder while doing so. Foxy glared down at him, squirming in the embrace. He was never too comfortable with physical contact, and it didn’t help that his pursuer reeked of tobacco.

“…The hell are ye doin’?”

“Shut the fuck up and let me hug you, dipshit.” The bunny demanded. “You looked like you needed a hug.”

“I hate bein’ touched, especially by the likes of ye.”

“Stop being such a stubborn bastard.”

“Ye cuss way too much.”

“Try and fucking stop me, asshole.”

“Do ye talk like this in front of the kiddies?”

“No. Only in front of the pirates who won’t accept my love.”

“What love?”

“The love you’re not accepting.”

Foxy groaned, deciding to cease struggling and reluctantly succumb to his ‘guest’. He allowed the rabbit to hold him tighter, and he even wrapped one arm around his shoulders. Although less agitated, his face remained flushed.

“See?” Bonnie began. “Isn’t this nice? So much better than hiding in this little Cove, right?”

Foxy grumbled. “Maybe… I don’t get why ye came ta see me at all, though…”

“Are you kidding me? I’ve been over this; because I missed you.”

“I know that, but… Why?”

“Do I need an exact reason?” Bonnie pondered to himself for a moment or two. “Well… I just didn’t like being kept apart from my good friend for so long.”

“…I see…”

The purple rabbit pulled his head up, gazing into the fox’s brilliant, amber orb(s) with his own of ruby. “Something wrong?”

Foxy shook his head. “‘Course not… I just…”

“Mind if I ask you a question?” Bonnie didn’t wait for an answer. “Have you ever been in love?”

The conflicted corsair hesitated. Albeit, the other, more extroverted male went on speaking. “I used to have the biggest crush on this huge dork… I’d usually give him a few hints every so often; yet, he was oblivious. It drove me insane. He acted like he hated me for some reason, too. I’m pretty sure he was only like that because he didn’t know how to face the fact that he liked be back, but… In a way, I’m beginning to think he really did want me gone.”

The redhead caught on quickly. Any previous longing feelings were replaced with butterflies. “N-no, I think ‘e feels the same way…”

“Really?” Bonnie cocked his head to the side in a curious manner. “…What about you? Is there someone you have feelings for out there? Or does such a manly guy like you not have time for romance~?”

“…Eh… Perhaps I’ve had me eye on one lad fer a while now…”

“Ooh, tell me all about ‘im~”

Foxy ran a hand through his mess of tangled hair. “‘E be this immature lil’ brat I’ve known for a long time now.”

“I bet he’s super handsome and suave.”

“Handsome? Yeah, sure. Suave? Definitely not.”

Bonnie shot Foxy a smug, “oh, really?” kind of look.

“Whatever. C’mon, what else? Is he another animatronic?”

“Aye.”

“Does he play the guitar~?”

“…‘E be quite the musician.”

“Does he perform on stage a lot?”

“Every day.”

“What’s his name~?”

“Freddy.”

The bunny laughed and gave his friend another light push. “What—no, I know you’re bullshitting me!”

“Then who do ye think it is?”

“It’s me! You couldn’t make it any more obvious!”

Foxy elbowed him roughly. “Quiet down, lad… Ye be too loud.”

“Awww, is someone getting shy because he has a crush~?”

“Crushes be fer children…”

“Then that means you’re in love with me.”

“Pshaw!”

“Oh, just c’mere.”

“Excuse m—”

Foxy couldn’t finish his statement when Bonnie abruptly grabbed the collar of his shirt and swiftly pulled him in for a kiss. The fox’s eyes widened, and his first instinct was to push the rabbit away with little avail. After this plan failed, he grew tense, unsure how to react. Moments later, Bonnie pulled away with an impish smile on his face. He was expecting to receive another beating from Foxy; though, such never came. Perhaps he would have hit him once more if it wasn’t for the fact he was practically paralyzed.

“…Captain? You okay there?”

“…It be like I just kissed an ashtray.” Foxy responded, wiping his mouth with his sleeve. “Ye really need to quit smokin’…”

“I bet you enjoyed it other than that… Besides, you’ll get used to it.”

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

“You know exactly what that means~” Bonnie gently bit his lower lip, wanting to come off as seductive. It was ineffective.

“I won’t spend any of me time with a filthy smoker, ‘specially not when ‘e smells like that.”

“Oh, please! You’re one to talk! You reek of liquor!”

“‘Least I’m not the one goin’ through cigs like candy every night.”

“Well, at least… uh… Are you seriously still blushing?!”

“J-just git out already!”

Shrugging his shoulders and snickering, Bonnie rose from the floor and opened up the violet curtains to make his exit. Foxy had began to speak, though cut himself off the moment sound escaped from his mouth. Noticing this, the bunny turned back around and grinned.

“What? I’m leaving, like you asked me to.”

“…Well, erm—”

“Don’t worry; I’ll stop by again tomorrow night. I’ll give you your space for now, and then I’ll be back to give you hell until 6:00 AM. See you later, Foxy~”

“Whatever…! Get lost…!”

Foxy let out a heavy sigh as Bonnie finally left after what felt like hours. He was trying to forget about the whole thing, but couldn’t quite shake those thoughts out of his mind. Staring at his reflection on the tiled floor, he was left alone to fully recall what exactly happened that night, and silently anticipating for what was to come during his time with Bonnie tomorrow.
