Description Antecedent / Aurigae 2

The second planet in the Aurigae system of Epsilon Aurigae and setting of my RPG Halo: The Battle of Antecedent.

BIG NOTE!!!!!ONE!!@211~!!!!!:

90% of the stats listed have been changed to be scientifically and physically accurate for a planet of Antecedent's size orbiting a binary star which includes a Class A star and is capable of supporting life.

This means it's orbit has been increased EXPONENTIALLY to lie within the stars' life zone, and as a result the time it takes to orbit these stars has also increased EXPONENTIALLY to over 5000 Earth days.

Also, I found that Antecedent is actually less dense than the Earth; otherwise it's gravitational pull would crush people beneath their hair.

And finally..... wait, that's it. OK then.

This would mark my 3rd deviation of Antecedent. However, this is the only one I consider "good," for three reasons.

1. It actually came out the way I wanted; looking like a well made planet.

2. I literally spent over a week working on this, but that was going through about 3 or 4 variations. The first involved Antecedent against a sparse star field with a Covenant Assault Carrier above it. The two stars of Aurigae were to be visible behind the planet. That eventually evolved into the star field being replaced by a nebula, and the original sun idea was lost (the Class A star would have been visible just rising over the planet, with the Class K star behind the planet, shielded from view). However, this eventually died because I hated the way the planet looked and just didn't like the appearance of the piece in general. It didn't look like a well made piece; more like an attempt at one. So I started over trying to make a new planet, going for simpler is better, and made about 3 attempts at that before it reached what it is now.

3. This is completely made by me (well, not the text; but seriously that's to be expected). The other two deviations are combinations of the planets Kashyyyk, Alderaan, and Mustafar from the Star Wars Universe, as well as some moons from Jupiter and Saturn. I'll make a note of this in those deviations, but hopefully no one will snap at me for using the images; all I did was use screen shots from the movies out of, to be honest, laziness. I knew how to make planets before this, but the first image was just a promotional title page for the RPG, so I did it relatively quickly. The second one was also just a practice thing, so see if I could employ Assault Carriers (also from screen shots) effectively.

This, however, is like an information page about the planet. There are no stars; no moons in view, no suns. Just the planet and some stats, and I'm very happy with it.

So, yeah. Antecedent as it should look. Enjoy.
