if you can catch a moth or a horsefly in a jar you can put it on these garden spiders' web and get some amazing lunch shots...

These apiders have to be the sexy seductress of the spider realm, look at how the back legs seem to have over the knee socks or thigh highs on... mother nature is a sultry temptress

Unfortunately this particular female passed away after laying her egg sac last fall, which is due to hatch any day now
And so true! I just imagined her wearing a garter belt and stockings 8D

Oh, wow! Did you photograph this yourself? I suppose you would have ._. well the clarity is great and that's a really unique spider, I don't think I've seen that before..
Mmm, face to face with poisonous arachnids. I was honored when he asked to have me for dinner.

Yes I did :3 She was very cooperative with me, too ^^ Can't tell you how close I had to get to her, seeing as I DON'T HAVE A MACRO LENS D:<
She's called a black and yellow argiope (ar-GUY-oh-pee), or Argiope aurantia if you wanna get all fancy and Latin and shit. Beautiful creatures. They're not harmful to humans They'll only bite if you really piss them off and poke and prod them, and even then, their venom doesn't do crap to you, but other than that, they're like wuteva. They get pretty big, too, and feel like velvet ^^ *squee of cuteness*
Would you like a cup of tea with your scones, madam?

;w; so awesome! <3
It breaks my heart to realize that nearly everybody I know would tweak out if they saw this spider anywhere near them.
Which reminds me: [link]

I would love to see such exotic beings around where I live, but the most exciting wildlife I've ever seen is a Garter snake. D':>

Indeed good sir. Spook story? Psh! These wonderful creatures are harmless. Tell me this story so that I may giggle at the expense of others.

it's and old country tale about how if it (go figure how this would happen) writes your name in your web you will die.... unless your name is z or l ... IDK how it would work. Now then... laugh away
