Holy crap, I'm doing not just fan art, but TMNT fan art?! What's the world gone to?!?!

All joking aside, like most kids born in the 80s like myself, I grew up on the old TMNT cartoon and loved it. As I grew up, I stumbled into the 2003 TMNT Cartoon as well, and that was great......until they started doing nonsense like throwing them in space, making Shredder a blob, and other crap like that.

Since then, I had kind of fallen majorly out of love with the Turtles in general, and I still consider it to be a very badly managed franchise. From being a juggernaut in merchandise and animation, to being a somewhat obscure-ish nostalgia reliant has-been property.

But one thing had remained consistent however; after seeing the TMNT CG movie, I had become quite...intrigued by Karai. Her plot was kinda standard, but still interestingly done, and she just looks stylish leading The Foot.

So after seeing Turtles Forever, which was both a cleverly done tribute to the fans (and an apology?) and presented us the best design of Karai yet (IMO), I felt the random need to show my approval of the good ol' Kunoichi.

So here's to Karai...and the Foot!
