It was several years ago that I was obsessed with Tokyo Mew Mew. I had made an entire team of Mews too O.oI had Parfait, Smoothie, Lollipop, Pina Colada and Peach who was later renamed Slushie. The only one I was really attatched to, though, was Parfait. Its been YEARS though and I didnt like her old look anymore.
SO I RE-DESIGNED HER COMPLETELY! She looks alot more like me now! The original had long, dark-brown high-pigtails with pink highlights in em and orange eyes..... I think the only thing that stayed the same is the animal. SQUIRREL! Well the colors stayed mostly the same too. Orange and Redish-Pink. Also the skirt is really similar but not exactly the same as before.
I had a little bit of help with this design too. One of my close friends, ShadOBabe, designed those ribbons that I used! I thought they were absolutely freaking adorable so I just HAD to use em! I really like how the ribbon on her back looks kind of like a butterfly. SO CUTE~

I'm still working on my own "Mew Mew" team - although my characters are not to be called Mew Mews, but Guardians (too complicated to be told in this comment 
One of my charaters was a rabbit, but then I figured out that in season 2 of Tokyo Mew Mew - only manga - there already is a rabbit... So that character is now also a squirrel - like your's ^_^ But she'll have to wait till after my 3 exams comming up, before I can complete her

Kyuuuuute. I never thought of doing a double-animal mew until Mew Berry came out in A La Mode. I thought about doing a kitty-squirrel or something like it but ended up sticking with my squirrel ^^

Lol, I collect manga like the otaku I am so I own TMM A La Mode xD Its definetly worth reading. But I'm a total sucker for the cute frilly romance and fantasy type stories so most of the manga I own are like that.

I've never been to a convention but I've wanted to go before! Also, I'm really more into reading Manga than watching the Anime even though I've seen some anime that beats their manga-counter-part big time! Manga I have: Angelic Layer, Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, Full Moon, Fall in Love like a Comic, La Corda d'Oro, Gentleman's Alliance, .hack//Legend of the Twilight, Tokyo Mew Mew, Tsubasa, Zodaic PI, Ultra Maniac, Meru Peri, Magic Knight RayEarth, Pixie Pop.... Ummmmmmmm I think I forgot one or two but I have so many! xD

Ya I read more then I watch too, I luv most of what what you read except I never heard of La Corda d'Oro or Zodic PI... though if if like both Full Moon and Gentleman's Alliance you might like I.O.N or Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne cause they are both by the person who wrote the other two^^
And I also suggest Fruits Basket, Mamotte! Lollipop, & Pita-Ten^^ They are awesome mangas two!!

I LOVE ARINA TANEMURA!! I think she might actually be my favorite mangaka right up there next to Clamp! I have read Fruits Basket, I love it! I just dont collect it since my sister has it. I've looked at ION and I seriously think I might get it. Is it just a single? Theres no number on the book I've seen. My other sis has lent me Pita-ten too! Its so cute <3
A few other mangas I'd forgotten to mention are Vampire Knight and Beauty Pop.
