Eeyup, I did enjoy watching this.
Judging by all the 'Aodan tail fire' comments...I'm mildly surprised I didn't recognize that either at first.

My theory is (and has been for a while) that Aodan was the first pokemon of Cole's father.

Note how Aodan parted ways with his trainer 12 years ago and Nero's first pokemon died over a decade ago.

This theory would explain Aodans knowlege about Char-Biology he's been passing onto cole, too: The Prof's been reading biology texts to him!
...or this is simply the most carefully plotted Red Herring I have ever seen.
Anyways, good pic! Your style is really different, expecially when looking at Ganon. What a shame that you don't have the time to shade your comics anymore, that would even be more awesome!

I would always have thought that he would have known about his body better than Cole or his father, same goes for just about any Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard aside from Cole, so I'd doubt that his knowledge and Nero reading his Biology texts to him are related.

Other Chars wouldn't have that deep of an scientific knowlege about their body. At least most of them would rather know how to trigger the desired effect, rather than knowing detailed scientific backgrouns about it. Imo he talked on a very detailed level about it.

Seriously, when has Aodan ever exhibited any level of knowledge about chars that would exceed what he would learn himself? Not saying that Nero didn't read to him, but rather that everything he's told Cole thus far all comes across as being from personal experience and as such doesn't really prove anything.

As I was actually taking the time to research, this was the only suspicious line I actually found:
"When positioned right, these patches will activate the biological gases produced by your respitory system."
I don't think this knowlege is obtainable from personal experience only. Imagine you were an animal running around in a Volcano or in a resavoir for starter-Pokemon or something. You would then be trained by a human who doesn't tell you anything about science.
Then you wouldn't know that you can produce strange gases or that they burn better than air.
You would rather assume that your tounge has the ability to turn ordinary air into fire or something, because it feels hot there. Most humans would have a different thought on that, because they went to school and learned how their body is built and that Air alone actually rarely burns, but it has Oxygen which is essential for burning something. It isn't as obvious as it seems for us people with a little more knowlege about it.
But, yeah, his other explanaitions were all about transporting heat in your body, which you don't need much knowlege for, so there were actually no 'detailed' explanaitions and only one where Aodan was talking like someone who heard at least some scientific explanations. was sure i remembered there being more...
