Required Listening: [link]Something I've been wanting to do for a long long time. And tonight I just happened to punch it out instead of sleep! So I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. It's a nostalgic trip through the story that's taken over 4 years to craft so far. And it's been an amazing ride. I wouldn't have been able to do it without all of you guys on DeviantArt who saw it first and continue to be the largest chunk of my audience. Thank you all so very much. ^__^

This would make a hell of an Anime Opening if Charcole ever got an anime. (with how Nintendo is that will never happen *has many sads for that*) I can see this as being a killer opening for it though but what would be a good ending theme for the episodes I wonder... Also would you say, if this WERE an anime, that Charcole is in Season 1 or has moved on into Season 2?

I have paid attention, it just hasn't shown him very much. Β And there was a time where he talked about having one, saying how it much it hurts when the flame goes out.Β Β Eh I probably just missed it.
if my theory about who he is is correct, being a ghost would definitely explain it.

This is certainly inspiring! But it gives the impression that the comic is coming to an end soon. Which I am guessing is intentional.

I seriously love the style some of the panels have, especially the second one. It's neat when something can be very simple with few values but you can still garner form from it. Not to mention the way you've done Cole's flame across all of them is neat.

Whoa. I loved the song - never heard of the band before, thanks! I loved the artwork - reminded me of things I had forgotten since I started reading CharCole. The two together... between you and one other artist who pairs their art with music, I'm starting to think that whenever possible, the two art forms _should_ be enjoyed together, when compatible pairings can be found. It adds resonance and memorability to the music, and resonance (again) and impact to the visual art.
Dammit, now I have to read CharCole from the start again.
Keep doing what you're doing, I love the comic both visually and in content. CharCole has actually helped me through a tough spot or two, and I've shared it with my little brother (he's dyslexic, so I read it to him).
