This is the sketch of Wolf Link I used in my last submission. at first I only drew the head and colored that, then afterwards I decided to draw the whole thing. the scan is pretty messy, but that's because I'm a messy artist.

Those at Nintendo say that they chose the wolf form for Link for a ew reasons. In this game, Link is already an adult and is already past the limitations of Young Link that was experienced in Ocarina. They wanted to somehow fit in another aspect of the game where there were things that you can and cannot do at certain points in the game, thus the idea of the transformation came along. They chose the wolf because it is a very mystical creature. They've seen the mysteriousness of the wolf and the power behind it and decided that the wolf is one of the best representations of a hero. This is why Ninetendo chose to turn Link into a wolf.
