Kinda thought my yoshis looked a little too close to the source material. So I'm trying to find a way to draw them with a bit more kyrio flair to them.(that's what I'd say if I did this on purpose, but really though I just doodled this out of no where.)

Huh. Not what I expected to see, but it came out pretty nice. 
Still, I admit something feels off, looking at it... I just can't put my fing-- Oh!
The boots. I'm so used to Yoshis with boots that it's honestly a little jarring to see one without them. I wonder how such footware would turn out on this guy.

Hehe yeah I've always wondered why yoshis always wear shoes. Heck they're even born with them on! What's even up with that? So I drew him without them. Now he's naked. For everyone to see.

Oh, yes, this is the height of scandal, alright. I mean, the little angel goes under Mature, but smut like this is paraded out where children can see? What happened to you, Kyrio?

I have such trouble drawing yoshis it's amazing.
I know it's the big eyes mostly that make them hard to draw, and are required to keep them on model roughly.
(I have this problem while drawing pokemon to.)

Yeah it can be hard to draw something in your own style that resembles something as distinct as a yoshi. I kind of learned how to copy how Nintendo draws them, more or less, and just sort of tried to figure out what key features are needed to make it look recognizable without making it exactly on-model. The same more or less applies to pokemon. You just have to figure out what features are most iconic.

I recommend doing it on Purpose a few times. Just to make sure you get what you're looking for.
