Probably should had kept the rose in focus, but overall, great use of the contrast with the sky!

Personally my favorite kind of flower. I'm not sure if you wanted it out of focus or not, but if not I suggest using a macro setting if your camera has one

I think if you angled to the left a bit more, we would have seen the center, which could improve your photo.
The light kind of dulls the rose, losing the effect of seeing a pretty flower.
One last point- Try to have tho focus as close to the front as possible. People don't like their view blocked.
However, I think you were trying to be creative, which is a good thing inside a world of photographers. I just think this could have been a bit better.

Hm...think you should try a smaller aperature next time. The DoF is so small that the whole picture looks a bit blurred.
