As you glide through your dreams on tears from your loving family
You see the trials and tribulations that you have endured
The happiness that was spend in what seemed like seconds
The faces of an army of people that have cherished you
Some you will meet at the end of this mourners journey
They wait eagerly at the edge of this river bed
Wanting told hold you in deep caresses of love and long
Some of us will be welcomed by you in the here after
We possess the tears that you glide on for this journey
Though I did not see in my later years many speak of you highly
I missed my chance in this life to breathe in your wisdom
I missed the chance to share in our joy of literature
I ask one favor of you as you leave our sights

"Will you welcome me at the end of my journey. So We can talk of the things we loved so dearly and this that we have written. Words that, hopefully, will flow through time and through generations to come."

Ha, it is time for this journey of tears to end now
I see the angel at the edge of the river waiting patiently
With a smile that brings us to tears
We watch as you step of the boat of your heritage and plant your feet
In golden sands of peace
The angel wraps you up in his wings and speaks softly

"I have been waiting since the time of your birth my child. I have been waiting for you to come and be comforted in this holy land."

The embrace is brief and the angel sighs
He looks down the river at us and says," You can not see the rest of this journey for you have so much more to endure but believe me when I say that further down the river there are angels waiting for each of you. Waiting for your story to end. Peace be with you and please awake from this dream."

I wake not know what I have dreamed but the feelings some how linger
Feelings telling my soul that you have gone from this mortal world
Please consider that favor that I asked and be waiting form me
