You see, after a particular awful fight with Stonn Little T'Pring confronts baby Spock and tells him flat out that she has no intention of marring him... Or Stonn. She wants to have control of her own future and she will challenge him if it comes to that. Spock respects her decision and they start to form a friendship. (lolz vulcans have friends)

After another one of Amanda's reminiscent stories about her childhood T'Pring decides that Spock needs to get in touch with his human heritage. He tentatively agrees only to find out that what his Best Friend Forever had in mind was to paint each others nails and gossip. It doesn't help matters when she's able to see his major crush on a fellow student through their connected hands.
