"That should keep you from running off," Oki growled as he pulled the last of the ropes tight. When someone, he didn’t know or particularly care who, had offered him a considerable bounty to keep a white wolf by the name of Amaterasu from participating in a race through the dangerous Yoshpet, it had been a simple matter of camping out near the cursed forest, pouncing on the unknowing female, and dragging the smaller canine back to his lodge. There'd been a struggle, Amaterasu attempting to bite and claw him, but the Oina warrior had subdued far more powerful captives in the past, and this one had posed no trouble at all. Now that his experience in keeping such captives from causing trouble again had come into play, she would stay that way as long as he wished.

The ropes binding the white wolf’s paws and body were unbreakable Oina craftsmanship, their many redundant knots and lengths permitting no movement from her helpless form. A thick cleave gag and wrappings about her paws kept her from causing any more damage to him or his lodge, or from doing anything but occasionally whining in despair and fear. Oki had always loved this feeling of utter power and dominance over his captives, especially ones as beautiful and appealing as this one. Still, he was worried. There was no telling what his mate would do if she found he had a female hidden away, especially with such thoughts running through his head. "Don't even think about trying to move," the warrior rumbled, "or I'll do things to you that you can't even imagine ..."
