this was a lot of work for a kind of stupid joke, lol. the idea being that Anders is so paranoid by Act 3 that he'd be checking for Templars in the closet and under the bed. little does he know that Templars are the least of dangers to his privacy...that's izzy and varric down there in case you couldn't tell. they be writin' friend-fiction.~

if you really want fenris, you'll have to. if you don't care, then don't bother. also, if you want to start a romance with anyone you'll have to do that in act II, so be sure to do that before going after the arishok next time.

yup. arishok is a lot easier with a mage, btw (winter's grasp ftw), and he's vulnerable to combustion grenades, which will stun him so you can get in a few hits. dog can also be used to hold his attention for a bit sometimes.
if you're still having trouble, you can refuse the duel and fight with your whole party; in fact, if Isabela comes back (must have above 50% in either friendship or rivalry) she has plot immunity and may hold the arishok's fire for a good while until you take out the rest of his men.

the dog comes with the Black Emporium DLC, which comes with the game if you bought a new copy; otherwise you'll have to download it for about $10 or so.
if you did buy a new copy, just check the box; it probably has the code in it.

indeed, lol. though to be honest, fenris' situation has mostly been getting better (more dead slavers=less angst) while anders' has been getting progressively worse (more tranquil'd mages and crazy templars+angrier justice=more angst) so it makes sense, somewhat. o3o
