A huge art project my two art colleagues and me did for a little puzzle game on Pokeheroes - the Ultra Beasts which got released November last year. I decided to draw Guzzlord, Buzzwole and Xurkitree (will upload the other two seperately). While I was super thrilled for this project, I also felt quite challenged, mostly because I was scared to mess up the backgrounds. lol But in the end it went so much better than expected and even though it took some time for all the details, I enjoyed working on fully artworks for once. I think I've overcame my fear for background works a bit. Perspective is still a thing that I struggle the most but you can only improve by practicing and trying out, right?

Guzzlord has really grown to me. Before I started drawing, I felt instantly in love with its official concept art. No idea why but I think the sketches below are super adorable. x'D

For the lineart and coloring we have worked with the Sugimura brushes because we decided to go for the official Pokémon artwork style to make all of our drawings look similiar, since all three of us have their own unique art style. I think we did quite well on that part. The other artworks turned out so amazing and I couldn't ask for better artists on my side for this project. I don't know if the other two are planning to upload their art, too but if so, I'd definitely will link them in my description!
