Description
A very colorful sea dragon with its prismatic scales, head and arm shards.
It is highly hunted due to its beauty. The shards are worth a lot due to the ever lasting color and hardness.
The scales are used for various decoration though are soft and frail.

The dragon do drop their shards once every other year, so lucky divers may find one while exploring the colorful reefs it inhabits.

Due to been hunted to close extinction this once playful creature is now very fearful of people and sometimes even aggressive.

Like stated it lives in the ocean, in thriving coral reefs. Young-lings may be found elsewhere though as they do venture out.
Both genders are about the same size the male however sports much thicker anemone-like growths on its back.
Old males even got them growing down the spine, almost covering the animals back.

They do have to breathe air but can hold their breath for up to 40 minutes.
They rarely go up on land. Though sometimes go to the shallows to get a deep sleep, unlike the half sleep they have to take while deeper in the sea.

The female lays 2 eggs every 3 years and protects her hatchlings for up to 4 years togheter with other females. Often her sisters and daughters.
The largest dominant male is to busy protecting his part of the reef from other males to take part.
