Description *Deep breath*

He's finally finished! So here is my vampire character from the Legacy of Kain series, Zennic. The first thing I'd like to say is...*GASP* is that a background from me!?!? Why yes, yes it is! That moon is SO gorgeous...it's just too bad his wings cover most of it up. I think there's so much more I could have done to this picture but I have to say I'm exhausted with it, it's taken me just too long.

I wanted to try something with this one. I was highly inspired by and how she colors things. Very raw way of coloring and I did enjoy it oh so much. One point I'd have to nail myself on is the light source. I have about 3 or 4 of them and it really makes no sense, but whatever...I blame it on the moon and it's almighty moony-ness!

Oh my goodness... I can't believe I never noticed this And I was waiting for it.

...I may be selectively blind or something.

Anyway, I am really, really honored that you chose to emulate my... errr... coloring... thing. If I overdo it it's way too complicated, and I often feel like I'm walking a fine line

Back to what's important: this lovely image. I don't remember what I said about the lineart now, so forgive me if I repeat. But then again, perhaps it bears repeating The pose is gorgeous. Lovely background, the textures are well-selected and used -- nothing too gratuitous, all very complementary. Love the grass; it looks real! And what an awesome character!

Nothing beats wing piercings.

Thanks for the inspiration first of all. I remember looking at one of your pics, then decided to color this. So getting a great comment like this means a lot. And...I just thought of something about your comment. Would wing piercings impare his flight? XD
*tosses spear* Here's a new piercing for ya! ..... ... .. ......oops, perhaps a little too big. *cringes*

Maybe he was arrowed in mid-flight and cut off the ends? "Cool, fashion statement!" Or worse, right after the piercing, he would discover just at the moment he takes off over a cliff: "Extra weight AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh" *foomp*
