Happy pride month, everybody. Let me introduce to you my first ever drawing done with a proper stylus pen on my brand new Android tablet. it was a lot more challenging than just using my finger since I had to concentrate on getting the pressure right, so it took a lot longer than expected. I would have probably done this in 5 days on my old tablet, but I had much more fun doing it this way since the line drawing is a lot smoother and I no longer have to deal with lag any more.

anyway, this is my second ever drawing featuring chibi versions of cartoon characters. I think I did pretty well, but it was a challenge to get their body shapes right so they don't just look like normal sized characters with big heads. I originally planned to not bother with shading as it would have made the characters look too busy in detail but decided to at least give them some depth.

I tried to include as many types of sexual orientation as possible with each character represented by their pride flag, and I wanted to do one character from each cartoon show. there is a bit of a blurred line between some forms of gender identity such as non-binary, gender fluid and gender queer, so representing this many forms of queer identity was a challenge. there are apparently a lot more types of LGBTQIA+ identity but it would be too hard to think of any character that represent some of the more obscure forms of identity.
