sorry i havent had much time to post things lately, but.... HEER IT IS!!!!! a few weeks ago i had sent someone a comment explaining what happened right after Ruben was born. For a strange reason i had the urge to try and make it sound like it came out of a novel..... i was in that really lovable mood.... and then i decided i wanted to copy it onto a microsoft notepad document and ended up having a 3 paragraph mini KH fanfiction. (which i am planning on making the fan-manga soon.....THE MANGA CAME FIRST. IT JUST DIDNT GET ON PAPER FIRST COZ IM STILL TRYING TO PRACTICE MY MANGA DRAWING AND IM NOT COMPLETELY DONE THINKING IT OUT......>W<) *makes evil laugh to keep ohter sokai fangirls in suspense* well, i chose to draw this because it was waaay too cute not to draw!!

While Kairi took her nap after having the baby, Sora had Selphie place it on a pillow on the far side of the room. Selphie couldn't hold it forever. If he saw that child of his, soon to being betrayed, put up for adoption, he would never be able to forgive himself. Selphie had left the room, leaving Sora, Kairi, and the unnamed infant. Sora was sitting to the left of the bed on the floor. He couldn't think what to do next since he was so stressed and anxious. He figured he'd just try to relax now, and wait for Kairi to wake up. The room was extremely quiet for a while. All Sora could hear was Kairi's heavy breathing, himself, and the baby who cooed every few minutes. Suddenly it's sound changed to an unhappy whining, and then crying. This slightly startled Sora and Kairi. It irritated Kairi, but made Sora even more nervous. Sora looked up at Kairi as she squirmed a bit and folded the other side of her pillow to cover her exposed ear.

'Shoot! what am I gonna do..?! I can't get myself in THIS mess...!' Sora thought.

'You better be prepared anyway cause I think what you're thinking is about to happen.' Roxas replied sounding stern, but just as worried as Sora.

Like it was on cue, Kairi leaned closer to the left side of the bed, looked at Sora and mumbled,
"hey.. Sora... could you um.. you know..?" her eyes flicked to the right as if pointing to the baby.
It took a few moments for Sora to respond. "I.. uh.. I guess so." he answered grimacing. As he was slowly standing up, Kairi stopped him.
"Hey!" She smiled softly. "Thank you." Sora stood, and turned to her again, giving a fearful grin.

He then cautiosly advanced towards the baby, trying not to startle it-- heaven forbid, let it make eye contact with him.
Sora's heart was pounding hard and fast. Every time it would look in Sora's direction, he'd quickly look at the wall beside him. Once Sora was where the child was placed, he knelt down, focused on the wall in front of him, then without looking, gently tried to pick it up and hold it the way you're supposed to hold one. The baby started making unsettled whines, and Sora pulled it a little closer to his chest and began to gently rock it like any parent would do to hush an infant's cries.
Parent. Sora shook his head, immediately dismissing any ideas that he was parenting. That word gave him knots in his stomach. He tried to imagine he was just babysitting someone else's kid, or a cousin. Sora stood back up, still holding it close, but trying to hum a lullaby to it as he walked back to his spot.
He pressed his back up against the wall and slowly slid down till he hit the floor, then crossed his legs, and cradled the baby in his lap. Sora then leaned his head back on the wall and let out a large sigh. Now was the big moment. There was almost nothing else Sora could do to resist. The thing was right there in his lap, and he was expected to keep it company while Kairi rested. Then Sora tought,
"When I really think about it... this wasn't planned out very well was it?"
"Nope." Roxas casually replied.
"And I can't really pretend it doesn't exist anymore, can I?" Sora wondered again.
"Dude, it's right there in your lap, and there's nothing else you can do about it. Go ahead and look at it already." Roxas insisted.
"I thought you'd say that." Sora thought, then sighed.
He looked down at the new life in his lap to discover that it had been staring at him for a while. Sora felt as if he just had the breath knocked out of him. It looked very sleepy, and was struggling to keep it's eyes open. Though it's curiosity was getting the best of it.
Sora couldn't stop thinking of how much it looked like him. It's skin was as dark as Sora's, it's hair was dark brown like his when he was younger, it's eyes were shaped just like his, but colored like Kairi's. By now Sora had gotten a bad case of the feeling you get when you're 6 and you've brought home a lost kitten. 'Aww, can we keep it?' Sora started to remember things from when he was little. 'I promise I'll take care of it and everything!' Taking care of a human baby is MUCH MORE WORK compared to that of a kitten. This made Sora feel so much worse about what he was supposed to do and what he wanted to do. ...(editing) Whenever the baby would open his eyes for a long moment to watch the wind move a leaf across the room, he'd mistakenly look up to be greeted with a soft smile from daddy. And every once in a while Sora found himself silently crying as the baby would wrap it's tiny hands around his fingers, showing it's love for him. Sora could feel it in his heart. He knew what every movement of his child meant.
i know... i know.... too sweet! *sniffle sniffle*
