So, I don't know what I was trying to accomplish here, or why I thought this style would be suiting, but this part was beautiful and I had to draw it. The first time you posted up a Homestuck picture, I squealed in delights because you're one of my favorite artists drawing one of my favorite things. And to see where you're at and how you're getting inspired by it makes me squeal even more each time ya post a picture.

I pray the rest of the hunger games stay true to the books; Just because they started good isn't mean they'll end well. Just look at the Harry Potter movies (what the hell were they thinking with the last one) or the Twilight Saga (good books, bad movies) and then [shutters] The Lightning Thief. I loved the books, plus I have a special place in my heart for Greek mythology since that's where both my name and my sister's came from (Ariadne and Penelope, respectively [my brothers' came from the Chronicles of Narnia; Aslan and Caspian]).Β I also HATE it when a book is adapted to film and completely changed (adapting a book to film is different than a movie BASED on a book; If it says "based on" in theΒ opening credits it's like saying, to me anyways, "the director was inspired by this particular story").Β
