People on this site are hypocrites. I hate how everyone targets people who do modeling (nude, semi-nude, etc.), but no one ever focuses on the cartoonists. Everyone who uses the "get porn off of DA" argument focus on actual women (because men don't do the same thing either) and just ignore cartoonists as if they don't do anything wrong. Artists (notice the lack of quotation marks), such as Liang-Xing (just the easiest example, no actual issues with them specifically), get away with drawing fictional women in sexy and exposing ways, while photographers draw the short stick and get the blunt of the attack. Look, the reason artists isn't in quotes is because anything can be art, so someone posing naked IS art. If you think that nude modeling is not allowed on DA, here's the DA Team stating what DOES and DOES NOT count as pornography:

"Is my deviation Mature Content?

• Please be aware that we do not allow the submission of sexually explicit or pornographic content (images, literature or otherwise).

• Nudity-Fairly self explanatory. While not all nudity requires a tag, if your work displays a penis, testicle, vagina, (female) nipples or anus you should assign this tag.

• Sexual Themes-Use of clear sexual terms or references, including sexual based humor. This category may also cover images involving models in explicitly sexual poses or erotic scenes."

So there's the verdict on DA and nudity/pornography. That isn't my problem, however. My problem is that users of DA are VERY hypocritical and seem to contradict themselves often. Though my use of the term "fictional" seems to prove that maybe the rules and views are different for non-existing characters. If your view is this point, it shouldn't be. Porn is porn. Nudity is nudity. Regardless of how real or fake something is. There is a very fine line between the two however. The DA Team has stated that any showing of particularly vulgar items (i.e. Semen, sex toys, etc.) and any submissions containing any mature content must be marked as such. And you may think that after all this, I am against any form of nudity or art sexualizing anyone on the site. But really, I'm all for all types of art (doesn't mean I enjoy all of it... MLP and fat fetishes) on DA. Everyone and anyone deserves to post art as long as it abides by the rules and doesn't break actual laws (child porn has seemed to be a HUGE argument/issue on DA recently). I don't know if anyone else feels lie this, so rip me to shreds if you want, or don't, I don't really care.

There's worse on here than this. At least she's covered. You can try to look at this more maturely - appreciate the human body and what makes it a work of art in and of itself. That perspective makes art like this that much more beautiful and valuable. Great capture, la-child.

I don't consider pics like this art. There is a such thing as art while still being nude (or semi nude) but this is just showing off her body. That's what Instagram is for. Not hetre.

I disagree. The lighting here is soft and gentle, reflecting a quality about the woman's body and perhaps even her personality. And besides, look at ancient Greek and Renaissance art. That was all about showing off the body. The body itself became art just as much as any other painting or sculpture.

Eh true. This just made me mildly uncomfortable and this didn't seem like art to me. It just seemed like a camwhore pic. It had like no effort put into it. And her other pics look like just random pictures tooken with a phone camera. But I respect your opinion. We all see things in different ways, I guess.
