17 took her things with her, telling 9 that she was out of sewing supplies and that they needed to go to a clothing factory. She introduced herself to him, as he did as well and looked back at the old oil barrel. He then asks her how long she's been out in this wasteland, were 17 begins to tell him her story.EDIT:
