This may well encapsulate why I love Fluttershy; Her big "negative" trait is just being shy, and that's not a bad thing. She's not egotistical like Dashie, not greedy like Rarity, not loud like Pinkie Pie, she's just shy and throughout the series it's something she struggles with, but never actually overcomes. As someone who may have GAD and SAD, I've always thought of her as my 'heart pony'. Not just the character in MLP I most connect with, but the one character in ALL of my fandoms that I am the most like. If she were a geeky fangirl and more quiet, she'd be almost exactly like me! (Well, mostly.)
Sorry, I'm ranting. I love this piece! I like the butterfly on her mane. Keep up the good work.
