Some of you might have seem Ruzai's original prototype on my tumblr waaay back. He was more of a random at the moment design--and long story short, I created MAGE not too long after so I just decided to use his design.

He was, of course, altered for the sake of fitting into MAGE. He was supposed to be shota (and my early drawings of him made him much younger than how I draw him now) but given everyone brought in loli and shota at first.. I age him up. LOL He was supposed to be an incompetant senpai type at first but decided against it. u-u He originally was suppose to be more hobo-y and prefer looser/baggy clothes though that changed..LOL I tried to keep that aspect sorta with his trademark jacket.

A weird quirk he had was that he had weak nose capillaries so he'd get nosebleeds easily LOLOL. Like a small bop to the nose, dehydration...etc. Was supposed to be a humorous part of his character (imagine him fainting midbattle not from the enemy by just from lgihtheadedness... LOL ) but that obviously got scraped hahahaha.

So Ruzai basically went from cliched magical boy to... the experienced cliched.. magical boy.. idk

Hyette is actually a blend of two OCs! Her appearance is based off of the girl(Eche), while her personality is the shota's(Hyrum) given it developed under different circumstances.

Appearance-wise Hyette is a lot more flat then her busty counterpart though she's not dfc like a lot of mage girlies... Her personality is similar to Hyrum's in that they are both really naive, ignorant of a lot of things, and pretty spoiled/self-centered--they're not malicious, just not used to caring about the well-being of others. They differ in that Hyrum (actual vampire), dislikes his heritage, while Hyette (human) adores vampires/linage/etc. Hyette prefers her closeminded (and safe) world while Hyrum was reckless and embraced danger/the unknown... *Q*

Ooh Hyette is actually supposed to have that weird blonde color-- just when I adjust in PS it becomes.. more albino looking.. LOL
