Well, there's no specific story behind this. The idea just appeared in my mind. Maybe the sink in my grandmothers kitchen had something to do with it.
It can be understood as something metaphorical, a visualisation of one's fears or thoughts - or an encounter with some fantastic creatures. The choice is yours.
