If it must be known, my preferred pairing is Koga and Kagome, more for the fact that they're bitchy enough to counteract each other. :3

yup. don't like doing them...but it's currently a good option to keep my mind off of stuff...and generally have ideas for things. Plus doing an emergency print order for con...figure more fan art isn't such a bad thing.

I have come to feel that Kagome belongs either with Kouga (who has given her flowers, hugged her and MEANT it, and shown quite a romantic spirit) or with Sesshomaru, whose cold nature would be well offset by her more outspoken human tendencies.
I adore InuYasha himself and his lost love Kikyou will always be in his heart. (Those who hate her have not read the manga. Not REALLY read it....)
Your drawing is wonderful because it has a delightful stylistic flavor that is different and fresh. I give it two thumbs up!!

I really began to dislike the way Kikyo is portrayed in the anime...it really sorta makes me hate her one one hand and on the other love her total attitude as it differs from a lot of stereotypical female characters in similar situations...and since that's the first thing I saw, it's always sorta stuck with me; however, I love manga Kikyo...and tend to treat them as two separate entities :3
And I do agree with your Koga/Sesshomaru logic.

The anime ruined her. And you're right, they ARE separate. The manga Kikyou was so different and such a deep and wonderful character, despite how sad and broken she is. Her strength and resolve to destroy Naraku are all that carry her through in spite of all odds.
Kouga is just wild and wonderful all over. I REALLY ought to do some Kouga art. He's a wolf with romance in his heart and he's confident and a smartass to boot. A winning combination!

It sorta depends on who did the colouring...there are episodes where her hair is definitively brown...plus the way I do black hair I'd get too many complaints about her hair not being purple or blue. This is dark enough to be dark without heading into some other colour realm.
