  Early Tuesday morning, October 31st, Kiana jolted awake to the sound of something crashing in the hotel bathroom. She froze for a moment before quietly getting up to investigate. She looked around the room for something she could use as a weapon against the possible intruder but found nothing that would do any damage at first glance. She picked up her phone and pre-dialed 911 and crept her way towards the bathroom. Her heart felt like it was beating out of her chest, and sank the moment she realized that the bathroom door was only open an inch. She swung the door open ready to fist fight the intruder but to her relief, it was just JoJo digging in the trash. “Really bud?” she shrilled, partially laughing at the fact that she was so worked up over nothing. “Come on, let’s get you cleaned up.” she grumbled, a little annoyed at the fact that he got himself dirty after getting professionally groomed the day prior.

  Luckily JoJo didn’t mind bathes, so giving him one wasn’t a difficult task. Don’t be fooled, he doesn’t enjoy them and will definitely be giving side eye the whole time, but he cooperates and makes the job easy. After the bath, Kiana decided to do some conformation practice with JoJo. She took him out to the hotel parking lot, ran him around in a large circle, did some work with stacking, and some desensitization to having his feet, mouth and the rest of his body poked and prodded at. Of course, he did super well. Kiana felt confident that he’d be ready for the show later that evening.

  The hours slowly passed by but at last it was show time. When Ki arrived at the beach, she was awestruck at the beautiful view. She was so amazed at how gorgeous the sunset looked that she almost didn’t realize that it was her turn. She snapped back into it and took JoJo around the ring. He performed even better than he did during all the practices they had done together. He stacked perfectly, and cooperated very well when the judge inspected him. Kiana was so proud of him, she couldn’t ask for a better dog.
