I actually really like Toko, whether they are best friends or have a sibling-like relationship. As for romance, I only like it when it is innocent, kind of subtle, and mostly friendship with a little sprinkling of romance (Toph basically being the one in charge because Zuko would have no idea what’s going on but still know better than to argue with her most of the time) and in a few years when Toph is older they decide to give a relationship a chance.
