Description
This is a birthday card I drew for my friend. I was going to draw something different, but I lost the original draft and had to start over. This turned out much better, and is a completely original piece out of my imagination. I made special care to make the branches into the number fourteen. I have a hard time giving my bad art away, let alone my good ones. Wish me luck! I hope you enjoy the drawing, and Happy Birthday Alexei! Thanks! Sorry for the words on it though. I knew that I should have scanned it before writing! And the only reason that they're good is because I used a reference. I stink without references. Why do you think all my art cuts off near the waist and the hands are behind the back or hidden?

I thought the writing was a nice touch, actually. Maybe I'm just weird.
And I don't mean that you do with your art, that's just something that a lot of people are tempted to do when they don't feel like they're good with hands or feet. I used to do it a lot myself. (the before/after meme I just posted is proof! lol)
