Yes, about a week before the shows I got a press pass, so I got in on Monday.

That's fantastic. I hope you enjoyed the concert. I've seen videos of the show, and I was struck by the way in which the audience was a sea of video cameras and cell phones...it was like everyone was being very still and not making noise so they could get good photos...very odd...almost eerie...and so damn ironic...I mean, they could watch a video of Ville anytime...but there he was, right in front of them, in the flesh, and all these people were staring at him through their viewfinders...very strange phenomenon...not that I don't appreciate the photos, because I didn't get to go, but you know what I mean...the band didn't seem to be getting the attention and energy from the audience that they deserved...of course, I wasn't there, so I don't really know how it was, that's just my perception...*shrugs*

I did, but, after all, the best show of the night was the first support act..
You're actually right, the audience was really calm, at least, definitely during the new songs. I think, to some extent, it was caused by the unbearable number of people inside. I would also like to jump and dance and sing along, but it was impossible, I was just stuck in the crowd.. But you're right that the people were really silent. I'm used to more noise at gigs..
