I haven't been updating my deviantart gallery much lately, sorry! Gotta do catchup, so here's something I did a lil while ago. Ambulocetus , the ‘walking whale’, which incidentally could use a lot more frontal skull shots because wtf does this thing look like from the front? how wide is its skull?? WE JUST DON’T KNOW.
I would’ve liked to do a nice realistic rendering, but ehh maybe later. Probably not super accurate ‘cause I sorta gave its head a lil melon. Fat face because when you look at seals and whales they’ve got a lot of fat rounding out their skinny skinny jaws and I think amby would have had that too. I see on the wiki page it says there’d be no external ears (how do you tell that?) but I clearly forgot that while I was drawing. Oh well.
