Alfred Jones and the Last Burger; coming to theatres... NOT.

Don't ask me how long did I take on this... too many bad things happened while I was working on this i.e. injured wrist, one week quarantine at home due to influenza..

Anyway it's done at last so I can finally work on some comic pages.

Random blurbs about this parody;

- Believe it or not, I actually started this on tegaki. You can view the lineart here . Didn't I tell you my lineart is crap?

- After looking at the original poster, I decided to use photoshop since I need to work on DETAILS at high-zoom etc.. Plus I estimated I would have to depend on plenty of tools to pull it off. So I capped the lineart and ported it over to CS3.

- This is my first try at creating a picture from scratch via photoshop... an experiment. Since I discovered CS2/CS3 had the hardness option to the brushes, which means I can paint/draw the way I'd like to. Ps7 doesn't have this option orz

- As much as I would love to paint Austria to represent Elsa... this is Indy Jones and he always have ladies on his posters lol So I chose Belarus instead.

- I randomly chose France for Marcus Brody... I'm still not liking this but I have no other choice orz

- Everything was done by hand, painted on one layer except for the fonts. And texture is overlayed on the final pic to give it some feel.

The negative things about this piece orz;

- I have no idea what style I'm trying to pull off here. It's not realism, that's for sure. It's like an ugly fusion of animu and various things... orzzz I know it sucks so you don't have to tell me about it.

- this is a parody/butchery of the incredible poster done by Drew Struzan. Everything about it is not original i.e. layout, design, colours etc The only thing I did was copy that and redraw the characters to fit. So I don't want any critique/praise on the parts that weren't mine.

- I am not pleased at how Germany & France turned out. They look weird.... orz
