This little splash of colour caught my eye and made me smile at the memories of summer. The flower is so innocently pink among the green leaves, rising above the dark depths of the water! The upper petals look perfect, as if sculpted, and the focus is right on. I can see why they make soap flowers inspired by water lilies in Asia.
The photo could be improved with two things: First, the date watermark distracts the viewer. While it's nice to keep track of when you've taken each photo, you can store your work in separate folders according to date or month, and disable the watermark option of your camera. Second, I personally think that a less central composition would add a lot of character to the shot. The rule of thirds is a good guideline for photos of flowers, and I believe it would work here as well.
Sunlight provides the perfect natural lighting for this photograph. The shadows are weak enough not to dominate the background, although some parts of the leaves look a little overexposed. I think you could even add some saturation without making the colours look overdone. In conclusion, there are some small things to improve on here, but the photo is already pretty on its own and surely a nice add to any photo album.
