Hello, my friends! ❤
I want to apologize for taking so much time to finish this piece. Caused of some life changings and other stuff I needed to manage, I have been a bit busy lately.
I´ve also tried out new techniques to improve my art. But I hope the waiting time was worth it!
This cute elven girl belongs to the wonderful morningstarsolar who won my "Draw My Species" contest in collab with her sister cloe-luana-luna . They created a super adorable subrace for my closed species. Eyarin´s color sheme was so inspiring and made me think of a sunny beach and watermelons. Drawing that watermelon made me really wanna have one myself though. lol
Who else got hungry for watermelons now?

Thinking back to your 'Stolen Meme' I'm beginining to understand why you chose this as your favourite submission. The hairs are certainly something to be proud of as you've previously commented but I don't think they're the piece's only major strengths.
Everything from the character's skin tone, the colour scheme of her clothes + flower crown, how the hair colour compliments that watermelon slice, right down to that backdrop. They're all like the perfectly fitting pieces of a puzzle, a puzzle that says: beautiful, exotic, tropical paradise.

I took the last hours to make my entry. It was a good chance to practise animations and I know I wouldn´t do it without any reason.
