Ohhhhhh!!! I sooooo loved GoTA!! Pity it was only 6 eps, but it was as intense and enthralling just as a complete season. Very emotional as well.

Ahhh awesome. Haha I'm actually watching it right now as I'm typing. Into the third episode lol. I quite like it so far; you're quite right, it's as gritty (perhaps more so) as the first season. I like that we get to see Batiatus, Lucretia and Crixus and some of the same characters and their beginnings.

I loved it that we get to see, for instance, how Crixus was brought into the ludus, I personally got to understand much deeply and better his character as it was in the first season after having watched the prequel. And, hell yeah, Ganni rocks as the Champion of Capua!!

Yeah saaaame! I quite liked Crixus and it is very interesting to see how he was introduced and how he became a gladiator and so forth. Also I like the way it is filmed; very gritty and kind of in the style of 300 (but probably more gritty

Exactly, that's why I cannot wait to see the second season. They have promised more blood, more violence, intriguing plotlines and all shot in an even more gritty way!!

Thank you so so so so much!!! I fell in love with the show the minutie I saw it, so I just couln't help it. It's so inspiring and motivating to me, that every time I get to sketch any of the characters it just makes me dive even deeper into the show itself.

On a totally different note, along with movies, I've been looking more into music. I got Manowar's "Fighting the World" not too long ago, and just today I ordered "Hail to England" ^_^

Oh, Hail to England... How to say...?? I'm in love with that album!! (with all of them, not that it comes as a surprise lol) Specially Each Dawn I Die... Just leaves me speechless!! And Fighting the World, "Defender" with Orson Welles' deep, profound voice talking in the background, it adds en even more epic nuance to the song. And "Holy War", I remember listening to it while going to school something like 10 years ago!

Not counting Hail to England now, the only two albums I don't have are "Battle Hymns" and "Sign of the Hammer" ^^ I also got the album "Metalforce" not too long ago. That is simply epic
