A surreal self portrait. The song in my mind while creating this piece was "King of Sorrow" by Sade. Here are the lyrics for anyone interested. [link]

A brief explaination:
- the legs aren't severed, just unnecessary for my vision
- it's not blood dripping, it's a representation of grief
- the white part on the face serves as a mask
- the body is grey to blend with the background, and draw focus to the mask and grief area
